Favoured by the Kardashians, and a celebrity in her own right with 1.6 million Instagram followers – the sky is the limit for this make-up guru, who apparently has a 2 year waiting list.
Joyce recalls the first time she met Kim Kardashian,
“I met Kim on a photo shoot. It was before the show came out, so I was like, “Who’s Kim Kardashian? – You might think that fame would have changed Kim, but apparently not – “Some people get crazy, but Kim is the exact same person she was then, so sweet, caring and polite.”

Hi Joyce, you’re somewhat of a legend now in the beauty industry, how do you feel about it?
Wow, thats kind. I’m OBSESSED with beauty products and love creating unique looks so it’s awesome people feel that way.
Working with the Kardashians and other celebrities must be amazing – is it as fun as it looks?
Yes, the girls are great and are so inspiring. I’ve been working with them for the past 10 years and they feel like family not just clients.
Cosmetics and the beauty industry is all about instilling confidence – what makes you feel your best?
Fake Tan! I am so pale, and tanning always gives me such confidence and always makes me look skinny!! The Cocoa Brown 1 HOUR is my favorite. It only takes an hour and it lasts the week, or I use the instant bronzing gels if I’m super lazy and need a walk out the door tan.
How do you get ready for a night out – do you have any fail safe looks you go for?
GOLDEN GODDESS!!! This oil is just magic. It really adds the finishing touches, so if I keep my makeup simple and add this to the cheekbones, bridge of nose and eyes, you will not fail! I love using it all over the body though for my clients, it just makes them sparkle on the red carpet.
Have you changed since working in the industry, and with such massive stars?
I try to remember how lucky I am. I have such a fortunate job and am lucky to be working with great people. I think thats a good way to look at life to make sure I stay grounded.
