In The Style supports the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund

Last month, the country was shocked to hear that a horrific attack had taken place in our home city of Manchester. This heinous act cost 22 people their lives, countless more to be injured and changed people’s lives forever.

We wanted to help those who had been affected by this act of terrorism by supporting The Manchester Emergency Fund set up by the British Red Cross and supported by The Manchester Evening News. To support fundraising for the Charity we launched our Bee T-shirt  to commemorate the victims of this inhumane act and to show the world that we are Manchester and we are united.

In The Style’s design team created a charity t-shirt dress with a bee emblem on the pocket (giving a nod to the Manchester Worker Bee) to raise funds for those affected by the tragic events of the 22nd May 2017, with 100% of the profits from the t-shirt dress going directly to the charity appeal.

“We have been deeply saddened by the horrific attack that took place in our home city of Manchester and it was very important to myself and the entire In The Style team to give something back to the families of those who tragically lost their lives whilst also showing solidarity and standing proud in support of the true heroes of our city.” Says Adam Frisby, director, In The Style.

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our fantastic customers we have so far raised £92,000 to support the victims and their families and we have far surpassed our wildest dreams. There hasn’t been a time in our history we have been prouder and wanted to thank all those who have so far contributed by purchasing one of our “Bee Tees”. Whilst this money can’t change what has happened it shows the unity of our nation and how even in our darkest hours we can work together to bring positive change.

We will never forget the actions of that night and those people who were tragically taken before their time, but will never forget the unprecedented rallying of Manchester and the whole of the UK to say we will never be beaten by terrorism.

There’s still time to help, and If you’d like to support the appeal please help us reach our goal of donating £100,000 by purchasing your Bee T-shirt online now for only £10.
