London Fashion Week: SS18 Round Up

It’s fashion month

Some of you may love Christmas and Halloween, but for us – it’s all about spotting those new trends both on the catwalk and on the street when Fashion Week comes around every February and September.  We just get so excited for the next season’s trends – and this September did not disappoint. From insane catwalk looks to chic street looks, we’re feeling inspired.

During London Fashion Week, bloggers and fashion lovers sweep the streets of London setting examples of cool street style, while they get the low down on all fashion trends set to come in the next upcoming fashion season.

Sadly, LFW has come to an end for the season, so we’re giving you an insight to the trends you should expect next Spring/Summer 2018 and all of our favourite looks!

3 TRENDS WE’RE PREDICTING

EXAGGERATED SLEEVES

If you’re a fan of a statement sleeve then keep an eye out for this one. Up your shirt game as we’re predicting dramatic styles from bell sleeves to layers of ruffles, there is so much choice that will spice up any outfit – the bigger the better. When flare sleeves first hit a couple of years ago we 100% threw out all of our straight sleeved looks to make way for this one, and this exaggerated look is a vibe. We’re expecting some cute dresses and shirts next Spring… Roksanda and Christopher Kane went all out this season and we love it.

RUFFLE SOME FEATHERS

Featuring feathers or tassel textures – look fabulous next Spring/Summer, all eyes will be on you. We’re all about that premium elevated style, so opt for shorter styles to really show off your amazing legs. Our favourites this season were Christopher Kane and Erdem for stand out designs.

SHOW SOME SKIN

Dare to go bare in cut outs. Whether that’s ripped jeans or a cut out little black dress you will look stunning – a little skin on show never hurt nobody. We’re feeling cut out dresses, low cut necklines and asymmetric dresses for Friday night vibes. Our best-loved looks were Julien MacDonald and Ralph and Russo for a statement look.
